When short becomes long

My mind is saturated of my current work. I do not know what to write... I cannot trade well. ooops even if all is well to trade, the market aint showing mercy.


The saying seems true, " Sell in May and walk away"


I hear them saying that the market is boring..I missed to observe that. as I said, I have no time to monitor how the PSEI behave in May. 
May, of course, is vacation time for many...as well as traders.
Not many stocks are active and even if they do yet volumes are low...There are only selective stocks that get the attention of the traders.  These stocks becomes the victims of the trader's boring days...


This will be well noted now for my learning...and is so expensive. 


I am now presently serving my 1 week extension at work, as requested- delaying my freedom.


In some sense, this can be a consolation to what I have apparently lost now in stocks...extension of work turns to cover my losses. More days, more pays. =)


It's only paper losses until actually sold.

busyness

On my last week before going home for good...
Seeing all RED and a negative portfolio is... not good


too many times I avg down on one stock.


If i convert my shares into a stock certificate, certainly my name will reflect on the top 8th stockholder.LOL


But no worries coz I believe.
just making sure I have funds on stby for more opportunistic buy when market finds for the bottom...but will I know? 


Cash is like a friend in worse time.


It sings me a song:


'when you're down and trouble, and you need a helping hand...'


...you just call out the name...cash!!!

That boat on the shore

The Superintendent came to me to talk about my coming resignation. He said, what if I decide only to take a break for 6 months and can go back to them anytime thereafter.

Paradigm shifted momentarily...

That's a good offer. If I fail on my plans, I have a fall back.

BUT

I still see the boat on the shore...

He said, think it over...it might be difficult for you to come back once you are totally out.

...I never spoke to him again. A smile will do.

I just burned the boat!

That boat brought me to the shore of my dreams. When I arrived on the shore, I see there are unlimited resources in the island to explore and exploit..

I want to focus on my plans and decisions. If there is something to fall back on, that could be a drag.

So I went back to shore to burn the boat. Now, on this Island I am left with no choice but to succeed and survive!
